A little more information would be nice. What line threw the error, etc. Have you tried debugging and seeing what the server is returning (set a break point in FileUpload.ashx).
Hope this helps,
Darick

I think I'm getting the same error.

Here is the standard exception : (translated from french, sorry)

 An exception happened during the operation, which makes the result invalid. See InnerException for more details
at System.ComponentModel.AsyncCompletedEventArgs.RaiseExceptionIfNecessary()
at System.Net.DownloadStringCompletedEventArgs.get_Result()
at DC.FileUpload.FileUpload.client_DownloadStringCompleted(Object sender, DownloadStringCompletedEventArgs e)
at System.Net.WebClient.OnDownloadStringCompleted(DownloadStringCompletedEventArgs e)
at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadStringOperationCompleted(Object arg)
and InnerException is
Remote server returned an error : NotFound.
à System.Net.Browser.AsyncHelper.BeginOnUI(SendOrPostCallback beginMethod, Object state)
à System.Net.Browser.BrowserHttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)
à System.Net.WebClient.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request, IAsyncResult result)
à System.Net.WebClient.DownloadBitsResponseCallback(IAsyncResult result)

I have no more information, since it only happens on my production server, and in IE8 (firefox works).

I'm getting this error as well. I can run the example project in debug just fine but when I drop this control into a different project I get this error. When I set a breakpoint in FileUpload.ashx it doesn't get that far. The error occurs as soon as I click 'upload', and I can't seem to attach to the process to debug it. This control looks like exactly what I need for my project, sure wish I could get it to work.
